I'm El Mansour, and together with my partner Achraf, I launched Lorizy in 2025 with a simple idea: bring gorgeous, natural straw and woven handbags to women across the US at a price that makes sense. Before launching, we spent months studying the handbag market and kept seeing the same gap. Women were either overpaying for designer labels or settling for cheap bags that looked good in photos and fell apart within a season.

There wasn't much in between something well made, genuinely stylish, and fairly priced for everyday use. That's what drew us to straw and woven handbags. Natural materials have a character you can't fake: the texture, the warmth, the way a well-woven bag adds effortless style to any outfit without trying too hard.
